All our cars are insured within UAE. There is an accident excess incase an accident at fault or unknown damage (hit-and-run) as evidenced by the Police Report.

23 years old is the minimum age of driver that fully covered by the insurance. Ages between 23 and   21 yrs. old, will have AED 1000 additional excess liability.

UAE Driving License less than 6 months old must have a back-up of country license that is more than 1 year. Additional excess, AED 1000.

  • Home driving licenses or international driving license will not be accepted when already obtained residence visas in the UAE.

A tourist or visitor can drive a rent a car in the UAE if they have an international driving license. This is in respect of visitors who have both a driving license and a passport from different countries. 

( Visitors / Tourists from these countries can that drive with their local country licenses include:  – All the GCC nations, Austria, Belgium, Spain, Germany, France, Ireland, Netherlands, Italy, United Kingdom, Turkey, Greece, Switzerland, Norway, Denmark, Sweden, Romania, Poland, Finland, Portugal, Canada, United States, South Korea, Hong Kong, Singapore, Japan, China, Australia, New Zealand and South Africa). Our salespersons will help you for further information.

SCDW (Super Collision Damage Waiver), is available upon request.  If availed, accident excess will be Zero. Police report is still mandatory. But point 2 and 3 apply.

Smoking in all our vehicles is our Company Policy. Smoke-free (non-smoking) policy is an extension of our policies concerning excessive staining, pet hair, dirt or soilage attributable to the customer. SEL Car Rental expects these guidelines to ultimately benefit all customers.

  • AED 500 – charges for cleaning and removing cigarette smell
  • AED 300 – for interior cleaning / seats detailing

All costs related to the regular maintenance and service will be borne by SEL Car Rental. We will provide a replacement vehicle whenever the vehicle is in our workshop for repair and maintenance. Notifying that the lube service is due,  is the responsibility of the customer. Based on the service sticker that is on the left top side of the vehicles’ windshield.

All the brand new vehicle’s first service is 1,000 kilometers and next every 10,000 kms.

AED 350 – engine/oil flushing will be charged for overdue service.

We only allow our cars to be driven to Oman for UAE resident visa holder. Crossing the border requires an NOC (No Objection Certificate) and insurance to Oman which will be provided by us.  Prices are available with our salesperson.

Police report is mandatory incase of accident. Customer has to inform our company about the accident / breakdown. If the car is not drivable, the customer is responsible to bring the vehicle in UAE on his/her own cost. Our roadside assistance will recover the vehicle once in UAE by providing a replacement vehicle.

Monthly and Lease hire are free delivery within UAE.

  • Dubai Area: Weekly / Daily – AED 50 one way
  • Sharjah Area: 100 one way
  • Other Emirates – 150 one way

We accept cash as alternative mode of payment. Terms and conditions apply.

If the vehicle is returned earlier than 30 days, during the 1st month of the rental, Daily / Weekly rates will apply.

Yes. Deposit is mandatory for Daily / Weekly /Monthly / Lease.

 Credit / Debit / Cash are the mode of payment / deposit.

Repair of puncture and leaking valves due to negligence or misuse such as impact damage (e.g. hit on pavements, off-road driving, water damage etc), is the responsibility of the customer and will be chargeable.

The replacement of tires will depend on normal wear and tear as checked by our maintenance on regular basis.
